About Us
Blackwattle Cafe opened in mid-December, 2010 and is situated on Blackwattle Bay, Glebe. We have the privilege of occupying the heritage building Bellevue Cottage. Recently renovated to its full splendour, Bellevue Cottage is in Blackwattle Park and holds a commanding view of Blackwattle Bay, the Anzac Bridge, the CBD and the former Glebe Island Bridge. Our cafe boasts outdoor seating from where you can enjoy these views either in the shade of our classic veranda or in a sunny spot on the terrace. Which ever you choose, there is sure to be a cooling sea breeze making outdoor eating a joy.
We have teamed up with The Little Marionette, a local coffee roaster working with us to ensure we serve some of the finest tasting coffee in Sydney.
Our tea selection comes from Larsen and Thompson who pride themselves in sourcing premium teas from around the world.
Please have a look at our MENU which is put together freshly on the premises, which range from excellent to sensational. The only thing we don’t make is the bread, which we source from Sonoma Artisan Sourdough Bakers.
We are fully licenced so you can accompany your meal or evening nibbles with our selection of wine, Happy Goblin or other beers and mixers.
